time is defined to be what our clocks measure
Close to a century ago, now, Einstein rocked the world by proving that time is not absolute, but is instead malleable.

Scientists now suspect that physics is about to yield another dark secret about time - that it may not exist at all.

People like us, who believe in physics, know that the distinction between past, present, and future is only a stubbornly persistent illusion.

I like that.

I need to reread it when I'm not surrounded by loud people freaking out about things, and when I'm awake, but I like what I got of it :-P

Pretty cool, and I was following along nicely until the article got to the infinite quanta existing in a single dimensionless point, at which point my brain exploded. I'm pretty sure dimensionless points are above my level of understanding.

I think I understand the dimensionless part, it's the part where infinite stuff fits inside that worries me.

Now that's an interesting article!
Reminds me of stuff I read in Feynman's book on quantum-electro-dynamics.

OMG THAT IS SO COOL!!!

Um, I just spent way more time than I intended at that site.

Yeah, definitely :)

Offhand, these 3 were pretty cool:
- Radiation & space travel
- Brain differences between the sexes
- The Real Dr. House

I think I sprained a brain cell, but it was worth it. We are so close to discovering so much. Give the scientists a few more years probing the furthest areas of the universe we can reach, and who knows what we'll learn. So much of what we thought we knew is being turned inside out.

Great link.
